Notable Projects
Titan's expertise ranges from basic residential sewer service hookups, to massive Municipal sewer system upgrades, to small water line replacement, to water line expansion, to geothermal expansion and repair and beyond. Here are a few of our more notable projects.

Playing through. Banbury Golf Course. City of Eagle, Idaho
Keeping an upscale golf experience upscale and playable without ever touching the fairway. It might not be possible to make a municipal pipe-bursting run more difficult than a 540-foot section of an Eagle, Idaho, sewer upgrade that ran beneath a BanBury Golf Course fairway. The section was part of a more than 2,000-foot project upsizing 8-inch PVC to 12-inch HDPE pipe that included reconnection of 17 sewer services through upscale residences of the Banbury Meadows community.

Nation’s Largest Geothermal System in the City of Boise, Idaho
Boise, Idaho utilizes the largest geothermal system in the United States and between 2011 and 2016, Titan helped expand that system by more than 13,000 linear feet. The expansion allowed geothermal to be extended to more commercial buildings downtown. This included the extension of geothermal service connections to the new JUMP building and Boise State University. Work also included a pipeline crossing of the Capitol Blvd. Bridge.

City of Council’s Waste Water Treatment Facility Improvements
Titan leads installation of first Submerged Attached Growth Reactor (SAGR) system in Idaho after teaming up with Great West Engineering and Nexom systems. The City of Council utilizes a lagoon system to process wastewater, which is an extremely powerful and cost-effective tool. However, lagoon systems often have trouble removing ammonia in cold climates because the inability of nitrification to happen. Installing a SAGR system eliminates this problem.

Locust Grove Water Main expansion
Titan won a contract bid totaling nearly $850,000 for the City of Meridian’s Locust Grove water main expansion and rehabilitation project. Although Titan specializes in trench-less repairs and replacement, they also have the skills, knowledge and equipment to take on massive open cut projects as well. The Locust Grove water main expansion project was completed in two phases. Phase 1 included replacement of 3,100′ of 12″ water main using open cut and included replacing and installing fire hydrants, tees and connections. Phase 2 expanded another 4,300′ of 12″ water main and again included fire hydrants, tees and connections.

City of Nampa Water Improvement
The City of Nampa, Idaho awarded a $220,000 contract to Titan for a water improvement project that included 800′ of 8″ HDPE water main. Titan used their pipe burst technique to save both time and money to complete this project. By using pipe bursting, Titan was able to replace pipe , tees, valves, hydrants and connections while crossing over busy 11th Ave North without disrupting traffic. The project crossed 11th Ave North, not once, but twice, going through 2nd St North and 4th St North. This is one of the busiest roadways leading into Nampa and Titan made quick work of the job with minimal to no impact on the surrounding businesses.

Council sewer system upgrade
In conjunction with upgrading the City of Councils waste water treatment facility and installing an all new SAGR system, Titan took on the task of overhauling more than 20,000 linear feet of new HDPE sewer pipe for the city using the pipe bursting method. Titan also installed 5,000 linear feet of pipe via open cut. Pipe sizes ranged from 8″ service line to 16″ mainline of both HDPE and PVC.
